Try something new in the mix.

I like to try adding different material to the old standbys. My favorite to mix in with geraniums and petunias is the succulent Aeonium 'Sunburst', It's color only intensifies as we get into the heat of the summer. The edging on the cream colored petals gets a deep crimson hue.
Don't worry about over watering these beauties, they can handle the excess water in the heat of the summer.
And in the fall you can bring these specimens inside to enjoy there beauty all winter long.
